DAY 1 Melbourne to Adelaide
Make your way to Southern Cross station for your 8.05am departure on The Overland to Adelaide. You will arrive in Adelaide at 5.55pm and make your own way to your accommodation. Overnight: Mercure Grosvenor Hotel or similar, 3 nights

DAY 2 Adelaide
This morning you will be met at your hotel to join your half day Adelaide City Sights tour. You will see stunning St Peters Cathedral, the famous Adelaide Oval, North Terrace, enjoy city views from Colonel Lights lookout, a visit to the Haigh’s Chocolate Factory and finally a stop at the seaside suburb of Glenelg. The afternoon will be at your leisure to further explore this city.

DAY 3 Adelaide 
Today choose from the following tours:

Option 1: Barossa Valley & Hahndorf tour, highlights will include visits to Jacobs Creek & Langmeil wineries, time to explore the historic german township of Hahndorf, lunch in Angaston and Mengler’s Hill lookout.


Option 2: Victor Harbor & McLaren Vale tour, will include a scenic drive through beachside townships, time to explore the main street of McLaren Vale, sample some local produce and wine tasting at cellar doors, time in historic Victor Harbor and picturesque Horseshoe Bay, stunning Goolwa beach and the historic township of Strathalbyn.

DAY 4 Kangaroo Island (L)
Today you will be collected and taken on a scenic coach and ferry journey to Kangaroo Island. Highlights on your tour will include the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, Clifford’s Honey Farm, the beautiful KI coastline, a Seal Bay National Park guided tour and finish with pelican feeding at Kingscote. Overnight: Aurora Ozone Hotel or similar

DAY 5 Kangaroo Island (L)
Today you will visit Flinders Chase National Park, Remarkable Rocks, see the NZ fur seals at Admiral’s Arch, the Hanson Bay Sanctuary & Koala Walk and finally the Birds of Prey free-flight show. This afternoon return to Adelaide via ferry/coach transfers. Overnight: Mercure Grosvenor Hotel or similar

DAY 6 Adelaide to Melbourne/Hobart
Make your own way to the airport today for your flight back to Melbourne. Your may choose to extend your stay in Adelaide or add on a Murray River cruise onboard the mighty Murray Princess. Speak to your consultant who can make these arrangements for you.
